Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Bryto collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Effective 2 August 2026

Who we are

Bryto Inc. provides mapping and imagery services to residential home builders in the United States. We put new communities on Google and Apple Maps, capture Street View imagery inside them, and operate Horizon Render Studio, which produces photoreal renders from a builder's floor plans.

This policy covers bryto.com and the services we provide through it. It does not cover any third party site you reach by following a link from ours.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you, deliver an order, or run the site. We do not buy personal information from data brokers, and we do not build profiles about you.

Order details
When you place an order we collect your name, company, email address, phone number, mailing address, and the name and location of the community the order concerns. If you upload files with an order, we collect those too.
Audit requests
When you ask us to check whether a community appears correctly on the map, we collect your email address and the community you asked about.
Client Portal accounts
If you have a portal account, our authentication provider holds your email address, your password in hashed form, and a record of your sign-ins.
Booked calls
If you book a call, our scheduling provider collects whatever you enter on its booking form, typically your name, email address and any note you add.
Usage data
If you accept analytics cookies, we collect pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. If you decline, we collect none of this.

How we use it

We use personal information to:

  • deliver the services you have ordered and keep you updated on their progress
  • respond to enquiries, audit requests and booked calls
  • operate Client Portal accounts and keep them secure
  • send transactional email such as order confirmations
  • understand how the site is used, but only if you accept analytics cookies
  • meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision making, and we do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.

Cookies and analytics

Analytics are off until you turn them on. When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics cookies. Google Analytics is loaded only after you accept: if you decline, or ignore the banner, it is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under the key bryto_cookie_consent. Clearing your browser storage for this site resets the choice and you will be asked again.

Pages with an embedded map or booking form load content from Google and Calendly. Those providers may set their own cookies when their content loads, under their own privacy policies rather than ours.

Who we share it with

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contracts that limit them to that purpose:

Vercel
Hosts the site and processes server request logs.
Auth0
Authenticates Client Portal accounts.
Resend
Delivers transactional email such as order confirmations.
Google Cloud Storage
Stores files you upload with an order.
Google Analytics
Measures site usage. Loaded only if you accept analytics cookies.
Calendly
Runs the booking form when you schedule a call.
Google Maps and Street View
Powers embedded maps. Google may set its own cookies when a map loads.

To deliver mapping and Street View work we also submit community data, including addresses, road geometry and captured imagery, to Google and Apple. That is the point of the service rather than a side effect of it.

We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim. If Bryto is ever acquired or merged, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction, and this policy will continue to apply until you are told otherwise.

We do not sell or share your information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under California law. We have not done so in the twelve months before the effective date of this policy.

Your privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you the following rights. We extend them to everyone who contacts us, wherever you live, because keeping two standards is not worth the complexity.

Know
Ask what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we disclosed it to.
Delete
Ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to the exceptions the law allows, such as records we must keep to complete a transaction or meet a legal obligation.
Correct
Ask us to fix personal information about you that is inaccurate.
Opt out of sale or sharing
We do not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changes, we will update this policy before it takes effect and offer a way to opt out.
Non-discrimination
We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or give you a lower quality of service because you exercised any of these rights.

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@bryto.com and tell us what you want us to do. We will need to verify who you are before we act, usually by confirming you control the email address on the account or order in question. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need longer.

You can use an authorised agent to make a request. We will ask for proof that you gave them permission.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and then delete it or strip it of anything that identifies you. In practice that means order records outlive enquiries, because we have to keep them for tax and accounting reasons, and analytics data is kept in aggregate rather than against you.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS, portal accounts are authenticated through a specialist provider rather than by us, and uploaded files are held in access-controlled cloud storage. Access is limited to people who need it to do their job.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you as the law requires.

Children

Our services are sold to businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle information we already hold, we will tell you before it takes effect rather than after.
